November Recap

As the release date of Happily Ever Afters gets closer, lots of fun stuff is happening. And as a result, I’m alternating between freaking out and ugly crying tears of joy every five seconds.

Here are a few of those big moments from November:

  1. My local paper, the Long Beach Post, did a feature on me and my journey to publication. This convinced my parents that I’ve really made it! Yay!
  2. Happily Ever Afters got great reviews from Kirkus and Booklist and a starred review from School Library Journal. They said: “This well-written, page-turning romance is packed with smart dialogue, powerful insights, and a lovable cast of characters. Highly recommended for all high school libraries.”
  3. Happily Ever Afters was chosen for the Winter 2020-2021 Kids’ Indie Next List! I’m SO honored that indie booksellers selected my book — they are truly the heart of this industry. And remember, you can pre-order a signed and personalized copy of Happily Ever Afters from my local indie, Bel Canto Books!

Just over a month left! AHHHHHHHH!
